Why we created these videos
Video demonstrations for basic oral hygiene already exist so why did we create these videos?
- Most of the readily available videos are not aimed at persons with disabilities or their caretakers.
- Most videos use conventional toothbrush and floss tools which may not be adequate for those with special needs.
- Most videos do not provide options for maintaining oral health when traditional methods do not work.
- Our interview videos provide a unique perspective on the interaction between patient and dental provider for patients with special needs.
