Department Research

In addition to teaching, the Department is also actively involved in research activities. These include promoting preventive dental services for HIV-infected patients, evaluating the physical properties and clinical performance of various dental materials, conducting in vitro and in vivo evaluations of the dental Computer-Aided Design & Computer-Aided Manufacturing restorative system, analyzing activities in the Comprehensive Care Clinic, and working on a variety of community outreach projects.
