Biography
Dr. Vassilopoulos received his dental degree in 1994 from the University of Athens, Greece. He received his advanced certificate in Periodontics in 2003 from University of Alabama at Birmingham. Currently, he is a Clinical Assistant Professor, Predoctoral and Clinic Director in Periodontics at University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology since May 2004 and is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Alabama Society of Periodontists, Western Society of Periodontology, and the Academy of Osseointegration.
