Billing Information
The UAB Dental Group is a fee-for-service practice. We currently offer the following options for payment:
Insured Patients
Our providers currently participate with the following insurance companies:
- MetLife
- BCBS of Alabama
- Delta Dental
- Cigna
- Guardian
- Medicaid
Please note that not every dentist is a preferred provider for these plans, so we urge you to inquire as to their status. Furthermore, it is your responsibility to check your eligibility and benefits prior to your first appointment. Payment for copayments and non-covered services will be due at checkout.
As a courtesy, we will file your insurance claim with your primary insurance carrier. We currently do not file secondary insurance claims, as out-of-network claims are not paid to us. We understand that insurance information can be confusing and our insurance and billing staff are happy to be of assistance if needed. Please contact them at (205) 934-1314 for more information.
Uninsured Patients
Payment in full is expected at time of service.
Payment Methods
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, cash, checks, or money orders. Please do not send cash through the mail.
Payment Plans
The UAB Dental Group does not currently offer any formal payment plans. However, we do recognize that sometimes treatment can be extended over a period of time or delayed due to necessary reasons. In such a case, please contact our billing staff at (205) 934-1314 for possible options.
